The Diverge seating range comes from the idea of creating a stackable chair that doesn't look stackable. The chair and barstool are characterized by their cylindrical solid wood frames that split into two to become the legs as well as being a support for the moulded plywood backrest.

At the foundation of all of our projects is the idea to manipulate and play with materials in order to arrive at interesting and functional products. In the case of the “Pinch” sofa system was the idea of finding an innovative way of combining expanded polyurethane and tubular steel – two materials very commonly found in sofas.
The starting point was to combine two materials that have very different characteristics - Foam changes shape when touched, bent, under pressure, etc., and steel pipes tend to be very strong and hard.
The Pinch seating system is characterized by steel tube legs that run all the way to the top. This in turn makes the upholstered cushions look as if they have been wedged into place and gives the sofa shape. The main concept is to make the fluid steel structure interact with the upholstered parts in a visible way.
One of the goals was to propose a sofa system that had interesting details when looking at it from all angles (front, back, side, etc.).

In order to compliment the already successful armchair, the Colony collection has been extended its range to include a room divider, dining tables, and coffee tables.

The Colony armchair has a steam bent beach frame with a seat/backrest in open webbed cane. A series of upholstered cushion complement the chair by adding additional comfort.
Caning has always caught our eye. It is functional, sustainable, resistant, lightweight, and most importantly it reminds us of furnishings from the past. From its origins in Southeast Asia to its introduction in Europe that ranges from French baroque to Austrian industrial age seating.
While researching the caning process we realized that it is very suitable for shaping allowing it to follow a wooden frame relatively well. A contemporary look is achieved by designing the armchair in multiple colours and making the structure more angular compared to more traditionally caned furniture. This in turn creates greater contrast between the frame and caned sections of the chair.

The inspiration for the initial concept was stimulated by the way a collar folds. This creates a more comfortable chair as well as adding a more distinct visual detail. Collar combines technology and detailed handcrafting. The injection-moulded interior was followed by intense modelling. The upholstery is tailored just like a made to measure suit. Even the buttons are upholstered to match the seat cushion, underscoring the importance of every last detail.
Two types of legs are available; metal or wood.

The starting point for many of our projects is manufacturing methods and materials. In the case of the “Dent” lamps this experimentation started with clay and to experiment with the traditional clay throwing process. By forming a rounded tube and then squeezing it a “Dent effect” is created that causes the shape to warp. This dent effect creates a three dimensional pendant that provides multiple profiles depending on its viewing angle. The pendants are available in two sizes and three colours.

By combining two distinctly different materials (steel & wood) we have collaborated with Miniforms to create a series of conical pendant lights. Each carved top reveals the inner grains of solid beech wood attain a three dimensional pendant that provides multiple profiles depending on its viewing angle.

The BattiBatti pendant lamps start from the idea of manipulating iron tubes – a material that is traditionally considered very rigid and cold. By revisiting very traditional Tuscan metalworking techniques the iron takes on a very organic and three-dimensional aspect. The final outcome is a series of suspended lamps that are composed of multiple iron forged tubes that reflect light in a very particular manner thanks to the faceted surface. The most interesting aspect of the BattiBatti lamps is that no two are alike since each lamp has been forged manually meaning that each pendant will have its own character.
By collaborating closely with Opinion Ciatti and taking advantage of their expertise in metalworking we have been able to envision a product that combines very traditional techniques that have been around for thousands of years and reinterpret them to seamlessly fit into a contemporary interior environment.

Diplopia: commonly known as double vision, is the simultaneous perception of two images of a single object that may be displaced horizontally, vertically, diagonally (i.e., both vertically and horizontally), or rotationally in relation to each other.
The main concept behind the Diplopia Armchair is to duplicate the various surface in order to create more comfortable and structurally strong furniture while creating an elegant product that has its own identity.
The steel tubes have also been doubled in order to function as both legs and armrests. They start off from the same point to eventually split off and finally reunite on the ground.

The Halo seating system comes from the idea of mixing and matching different backrest elements to create a variety of seating configurations, ranging from a single seat easychair, a public seating system, and a three-seat sofa that works well in different environments.
The main feature is a very large backrest that can provide additional comfort, but also increases privacy and improves acoustics without the need to close oneself in. The system is called ‘Halo’ because the backrest/headrest is reminiscent of a saint’s halo.
The starting point was to design a series of objects for public spaces. We saw a growing trend of furniture that would give the user more privacy but they tend to isolate the person from the surrounding environment. We tried to think of a half way point that would allow the user to have more privacy but still be able to interact with their surrounding.

Based on the acclaimed Collar this version, without the turned down sides, is slightly slimmer making it ideal for dinning. We were inspired by the collarless shirts (called Mao in Spanish) worn by some of the most eccentric & conspicuous leaders of the 20th century. This version is slightly lighter and thinner, making it ideal as a dining chair. Collar combines technology and detailed handcrafting. The injection-moulded interior was followed by intense modelling. The upholstery is tailored just like a made to measure suit. Even the buttons are upholstered to match the seat cushion, underscoring the importance of every last detail.

The coat rack is composed of a central metal stem with spherical wooden holders of varying sizes that appear to be placed randomly. The coat stands are available in different colours and finishes.

The concept behind the Stack easy chair comes from the idea of having cushions in constant motion that look like they have been stacked randomly on top of each other. Placing multicoloured polyurethane upholstered cushions on a molded plywood structure creates the perception of depth and playfulness. Two tubular steel rods add additional aesthetic detail as well as structural support for the ash wood legs.

The Divide system allows you to create any length or height room divider through a very simple manufacturing process that always looks different and unique by reusing the left over wood usually found at carpenters. Different woods and colours have been used including spruce, French oak, and Beech. Each piece of wood has two equal distance holes drilled into them. The various pieces of wood interlock between each other thanks to a small metal insert that is placed into the holes.
